Lighting Controls

Niagara offers two types of energy-saving lighting controls that utilize passive infrared (PIR) sensing technology to provide hands-free operation. Occupancy Sensors turn lights “off” when a person leaves the room and “on” when they enter the room. Vacancy Sensors turn lights off when there is nobody in the room. Both save electricity and lower energy bills by helping ensure lights are turned off when a room is vacant.
